Betsy's half dozen

Betsy has actually laid eight eggs since Thursday last week, but we ate two at the weekend. In the meantime we've been trying to use up the eggs we'd bought, not expecting her to start laying so soon.

Here are the half dozen we haven't eaten yet.

    Its such a great feeling to eat eggs from your own hens, knowing what they have been fed on and that they are happy and well looked after.

    Enjoy those lovely eggs, im about to cook omelette for everyone to use up some of ours!
